Playlist Mover — Terms of Service

Last updated: August 15, 2026

1. What Playlist Mover is

Playlist Mover is a free desktop utility that copies playlists you own on Spotify into private playlists in your own YouTube account. It is provided by an individual developer ("we") for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Your accounts

You must have your own Spotify and Google/YouTube accounts and are responsible for them. Playlist Mover acts only on your behalf, only in your own accounts, and only when you run it. You may revoke its access at any time from your Google Account permissions and Spotify apps pages.

3. YouTube API Services

Playlist Mover uses YouTube API Services. By using it you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and you acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy. Our own Privacy Policy describes what data the app accesses and confirms that it stores nothing on any server.

4. Acceptable use

Use Playlist Mover only to copy playlists you own into accounts you own. Do not use it to bulk-create playlists, to circumvent YouTube's quota or rate limits, or in any way that violates the YouTube Terms of Service or the Google APIs Terms of Service.

5. No warranty

Playlist Mover is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Song matching is automatic and may occasionally pick a wrong or missing video; the app lists songs it could not find so you can add them by hand. We are not liable for any damages arising from its use.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this page.
